in conjunction with hub collective, i provided creative and design direction for nike baseball's internal v.i.p. event, the nike mlb all-star retailer event 2013. we used the opulent visuals of the turn-of-the-century gilded age of of new york, the host city for 2013's event, throwing back to a time of luxury: the guilded age. invitees were treated as members of an exclusive high society club, the "gilded league." to support this concept, we used rich black papers, gold foils, edge painting, a custom-painted baseball, and custom-etched cuff links and business card holders, putting this series of save the dates and invitations over-the-top in the grandest way.
